Chelsea 0-2 Barcelona (1-2 agg): Blues dealt Champions League heartbreak as controversial semi-final second-leg defeat knocks them OUT - with Aitana Bonmati and Fridolina Rolfo on target

Chelsea's Champions League dream was shattered after a controversial defeat by Barcelona at Stamford Bridge saw them agonisingly lose out on aggregate.

Emma Hayes' side took a 1-0 advantage into the semi-final second leg but were left shellshocked after goals from Aitana Bonmati and Fridolina Rolfo dumped them out.

Bonmati had pulled the visitors level in the tie after firing into the far corner, with a wicked deflection leaving goalkeeper Hannah Hampton scrambling in vain.

The Blues were then dealt a near-fatal blow after Kadeisha Buchanan was dismissed after a second yellow card despite appearing to touch the ball during a tackle.
